Nestas últimas semanas não tem acontecido nada de mais para se justificar atualizar o blog. As ondas foram muito poucas, o horário escolar apertado e agora entro na altura de testes, que por coincidência também é altura de vir umas ondas boas nos próximos dias. Como estou sedento para apanhar umas ondas boas, vou organizar bem o meu tempo para surfar/estudar.

There hasn't happening much in the last couple weeks to justify updating the blog. The waves were pretty bad, tight school schedule and now it's the tests season which coincidentally with some good waves coming. I can't wait to score some good waves, so I will organize my time to surf and study.

Tenho contado estes dias para o 'Azores Bodyboarding Festival 2011'. Como o nome indica, é um festival de Bodyboard que irá ocorrer na ilha da Terceira, com a realização da 3ª etapa do Circuito Nacional de Bodyboard Open (entre os dias 18-20 Novembro) e a última etapa do mundial do circuito de qualificação, GQS (Global Qualifying Series) de 6 estrelas.

Espero que a mãe natureza nos proporcione dias memoráveis de ondas, que é disto que precisamos para elevar o Bodyboard aqui pelos Açores e em Portugal para serem cada vez mais pessoas o verdadeiro Bodyboard. Mal posso esperar, vai ser na onda de Santa Catarina, onde tive oportunidade de lá surfar em Junho, numa mini-trip feita com uns amigos onde apanhei altas ondas! Vou aproveitar estes próximos dias que prometem boas ondas para voltar à boa forma física e conssistência.
Espero dar-me bem em ambos os campeonatos. Espero também receber os meus novos fatos da Reeflex (vindos diretamente da Austrália) a tempo dos campeonatos, mal posso esperar para os receber e juntar-me aos 'chest-zip lovers'.

I've been counting down the days for the upcoming 'Azores Bodyboarding Festival 2011'. As the name implies, it's a festival that will occur Bodyboarding in Terceira island, with the completion of the 3rd Nacional stage of the National Circuit Bodyboard Open (between 18-20 November) and the last stage of the IBA GQS (Global Qualifying Series), 6 star event.
I hope that mother nature gives us memorable days of waves, which is what we need to raise the bodyboarding here in Azores to more people see what's the real Bodyboard. I can't wait, it will be in Santa Catarina's wave, where I had the opportunity to surf there in last June, made a mini-trip with some friends where we scored great waves!
These next few days are looking good so i'm going to enjoy it as much as i can and at the same time back to good shape and conssistency.
I hope I can do well in both comps. I also hope to receive my new Reeflex suits (coming directly from Australia) at time of the comps, can't wait to have them and to join to the 'chest-zip lovers'.
