É com grande satisfação que a USBA - União de Surfistas e Bodyboarders dos Açores anuncia a realização da III prova do Circuito Nacional de Bodyboard 2009 que terá lugar na ilha de São Miguel na praia dos Areais de Santa Bárbara, concelho da Ribeira Grande, de 18 a 20 de Dezembro. Esta etapa, que é organizada pela USBA e homologada pela Federação Portuguesa de Surf e pela Associação Portuguesa de Bodyboard, representa a chegada do melhor bodyboard competitivo nacional ao arquipélago dos Açores.
Depois de Peniche, onde Hugo Pinheiro e Catarina Sousa conquistaram o 1º lugar, e da Costa de Caparica, onde já este fim de semana se disputa a segunda etapa do Circuito, os melhores bodyboarders nacionais rumam às ondas açorianas para consagrarem os campeões nacionais de 2009 e disputarem o maior Prize Money do ano no valor de 5000€ (3000€ Masculino e 2000€ Feminino).
A USBA tem também o prazer de anunciar a parceria com a transportadora aérea regional SATA e com o Hotel The Lince Azores.
Para todos os atletas e outros envolvidos com a prova a SATA disponibiliza uma tarifa promocional no valor de 199€ ida e volta com partida de Lisboa ou Porto.
Relativamente a estadia o Hotel The Lince, 4 estrelas, oferece, em regime de quarto e pequeno almoço, preços no valor de 45€ quarto single por noite e 50€ quarto duplo por noite.

It is with great satisfaction that the USBA - Union of Surfers and Bodyboarders Azores announces the completion of the third stage of the Circuito Nacional de Bodyboard 2009 to be held on the island of São Miguel on the beach Arais at Santa Barbara, municipality of Ribeira Grande, 18 to 20 December. This stage, which is organized by the USBA and approved by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and the Portuguese Association of Bodyboarding, represents the arrival of more competitive national bodyboard to the Azores.
After Peniche, where Hugo Pinheiro and Catarina Sousa won the 1st place, and the Costa de Caparica, where it already this weekend whether to contest the second stage of the circuit, the best national riders flock to the waves of the Azores to devote the national champions of 2009 and fighting for increased prize money this year amounting to € 5000 (3000€ mens, 2000€ womens).
The USBA is also pleased to announce the partnership with the regional carrier SATA and the Hotel Lince Azores.
